DARE will be traveling to the Augusta, GA area on Thursday the 15th to the 17th. We will have a total of 35 volunteer assisting storm survivors over the 3-day deployment. DARE expects to serve 5 different home owners and should complete all needed repairs of of these sites. We will continue our Long-Term Recovery Effort in November.
After receiving a "Formal Request for Aid" from the Alabama-North Florida UMC Conference, DARE will be responding to Hurricane Isaias with an Early Response Team presence in Pensacola, FL. This deployment will begin on 10/19 and end on 10/23. DARE will be co-leading along side the DART team from Dunwoody UMC. Roswell UMC and Dunwoody UMC have long history of working side-by-side in the Disaster Response Ministry, dating back to Hurricane MIchael in 2018.
